We created this cleanser for people who find most other products too harsh, especially those with Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis or fragile, hypersensitive skin. It’s made with the gentlest cleansing ingredient available, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate - commonly only used as a secondary ingredient, but we made it the star ingredient.
 
We originally started making this just for fun (our version of farm-aceutical tinkering), using a new generation of natural cleansers. They're tricky and more expensive to work with, so we weren’t sure it would be worth it. But we loved the result so much, we had to turn it into a real product, no matter the cost.
 
What makes it so gentle? We use Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate as the primary cleanser. It’s derived from natural ingredients like coconut and sugar and has a remarkably low irritation score, even compared to other “gentle” cleansers. Many so-called gentle products still contain SLS, a harsh detergent that can cause dryness and irritation. Not this one.
 
We also added Ceramides, which are naturally found in healthy skin but often lacking in those with Eczema, Psoriasis or Dermatitis. Ceramides help to lock in moisture, strengthen the skin barrier and keep out irritants, allergens and pollutants. This means less chance of dryness and flare-ups, and a whole lot more comfort.
 
Our Ultra Gentle Cleanser with Ceramides is not just kind to your skin, it’s environmentally friendly too! It's made using a unique sugarcane fermentation process, low-energy manufacturing and biodegradable ingredients.
